So this weekend I accidentally my space husbando.
I just got home like 2 hours ago, my brain is not in working order yet. I had such a blast at PAXEast, you guys don’t even know. I’m so glad I made a bunch of new shenko loving friends! <3 Everything was just so cool. I will have more words in the morning, I literally can not form sentences. But yeah, here it is for people to see. I love this armor so much. I have to fix a bunch of things and chances are I will re-make half of it before I wear it again. I think it’s a good start though.
I wanted to contribute to VSAW too but I’m not much for writing and I’m slow as heck when it comes to finishing artwork. So that left me with video editing XP it’s a bit rushed since I’m headed out of town for the rest of the week (don’t worry, I’ll be appreciating Kaidan while I’m at PAXEast)
For me, ME1 was all about the adventures of Team Milky Way! I loved my three little musketeers as they ran around the galaxy being the goofy badasses that they are. And then Virmire… T__T

So, this is the ladies hoodie in medium. The color looks sooo much better than I thought it would! It’s really close in color to my Kaidan/Ashley armor. I was a bit worried that I should have gotten a large since I’m kind of a plump girl (41 inch bust for reference) but it fits great! I’m never taking this thing off!
I also made a Fiora wig! Because I can. So no, I don’t have cool emo-kid hair irl.
Citadel DLC GMV done very quickly because I had feels that needed to get out. It’s an upbeat one though! Tried not to have any plot spoilers, it’s mostly just hanging out with the crew. Custom Femshep with Kaidan for LI.

I know people aren’t terribly fond of rule 63 cosplay but I want to show my favorite character some love. In reality there’s no way in hell I could pull off a crossplay of this, so there ya go. It’s just a fun, goofy outfit I can wear around cons at night and hit up the bars in. Armored version of Fem! Kaidan coming soon…

And it’s not just because he’s my LI. I see a lot of myself in Kaidan, that cool exterior and self imposed control. He may seem a tad awkward and unsure of himself, but in reality he is comfortable in his own skin. It’s other people’s reaction to him that he is unsure of. He sticks to his guns, won’t waver from his own ideals, and would do anything to help his friends even if he ends up hurting because of it. He doesn’t ask for your help, he doesn’t need fixing. Instead he’s there ready to give you anything and everything. He wants to see the good in things but is ready to accept the reality of a grim situation.
Well I was going to be productive before work, instead I was attacked by Shenko feels. So I decided to play with my screencaps. Oh well.
I’ve got ME/2/3 installed on my PC and waiting to go for a marathon run through. But I know I will have no life once I start so I’m going to try to wait till after Otakon is over.

Kaidan Alenko - I’ve just got to hand sew the collar/shoulder part to the shirt and put a snap on one of the pockets and he’s all done! I’ve got to remember to bring some hair gel along and not tell my husband the trick I’ve decided to use to add a little gray.
Fem Shep- I figured for real ME photoshoots I would go with the default shep look. I may still play around with the wig a bit. My dress blues are already done so yay!
I will have to snag a photographer or two and get some adorable Shenko cosplay pics!

Yeah… I’m not that crazy (yet). My husband decided to indulge my craziness and agreed to do some Mass Effect cosplay with me. So he’s getting some Kaidan outfits. It doesn’t look too great on the dress form mostly because it’s on my female dress form and not a big male one. I knew the BDUs would be a pain in the arse but I’m pretty happy with how things are coming along. Slowly adding details at this point.
I’m really tempted to give him a whiskey bottle for a prop to carry around.
